Subterranean Souls: Portraits of London's Queer Underground
In the dimly lit corridors of London's underground, where beats reverberate through the air and bodies move in uninhibited rhythm, I seek to capture moments of raw emotion, defiance, and uninhibited joy.
My work aims to illuminate the vibrant and diverse community of queer, non-binary individuals within London's underground art nightclub scene (mainly Riposte, Monster Queen, Inferno, and Howl). Each portrait is a testament to the courage it takes to exist boldly in a world that often seeks to confine and categorise.
These portraits are not just snapshots of individuals; they are windows into a subculture that thrives on the principles of acceptance, solidarity, and unapologetic self-love.
