"Miramar" is a documentary photography project that, drawing inspiration from the style of certain American photography, aims to depict a part of the Riviera Romagnola, between Cattolica and Ravenna. Not from a stereotypical perspective of saturated colors, beach umbrellas, postcard-perfect beaches, and the Italian summer, but from a more introspective perspective, on the road, discovering hidden places and local people: young people, mysterious women, old sailors, and seafarers. The goal is to reveal a hidden side of the sea and a way of experiencing it, between memories and the desire for freedom. It is the story of a more hidden world, at times wild and yet extraordinarily human.
