“I Folded My Secrets Like Paper Birds” is my exploration of a landscape suspended between reality and imagination, a place where silence and vast horizons suggest that more exists than what is seen. The project moves through still waters, quiet places and distant mountains. Water acts as a connecting body, carrying reflections and fragments of hidden stories. It holds traces of life that appear both present and absent, allowing memory to remain fluid and difficult to grasp. Beneath the visible surface, mystery, nature and silence begin to merge into a form of truth that resists being fully told. Birds recur as symbols of freedom and movement — qualities I quietly identify with. Yet, they appear fragile or artificial: made of paper, kept within cages or imagined rather than seen. Their fragility mirrors my own presence in the landscape — free in spirit, yet shaped by the limits of reality.
