“Hotel Tevere” is a real journey, physical but also spiritual, reflective, stimulated by a personal curiosity: intimate visions and dazzling encounters while flowing along the banks of the Tiber river.Wearing an often nebulous appearance, naturalistic glimpses and anthropic landscapes blend into stories, sometimes sad and sometimes pleasant, of those who live there. They are nostalgic memories, fragments of a remote, majestic vigor, intertwined with vibrant contemporary notes, aimed at enlivening the essence. The Tiber is a faithful companion for those who care to immerse themselves in its magic. In the narrative will, the functional involution, full of hidden contradictions, does not undermine the bucolic charm of its course. From its bridges, from its banks, the rustle of the Tiber waters dominates reality, hovering the observer in a contemplative, poetic, enchanted dimension.
Its handles become protagonists, becoming meanders of geometric vine architecture. The River, as it is called by its lovers, runs for 405km, crossing four regions, until it borders the Tirreno Sea.There, where the river dives into the Tyrrhenian Sea, runs the imaginary line and the natural border of perfect balance, which separates and confuses the mouth and the sea. It is the same point described by Dante Alighieri in Purgatory "Where the water of the Tiber becomes salty".
It is the dichotomy of the waters that delimits the finish line of this journey in which the places that arise as ideal harmony are characterized by dystopian perspectives, and the aspirational story, an uncontainable search for beauty, becomes urgent as an expression of preservation.
