Solar Fiction, Miami Beach, 2026
This photographic series was created in Miami Beach, an emblematic seaside landscape marked by its Art Deco architecture, palm trees, and colorful lifeguard towers.
Initially inspired by the aesthetics of 1950s postcards and vernacular photography, the project gradually moves toward a more graphic and contemporary visual language, at the intersection of author photography and fashion photography. The setting becomes a space of lines, rhythms, and colors in which the body fully integrates.
Through deliberately tight framing, the work explores formal relationships between architecture, body, and objects. The straight lines of the lifeguard towers interact with the curves of a ball, a recurring motif that runs through the series like a visual thread. The female body, through the precision of its poses and vertical lines, becomes a form that extends and recomposes the space.
The styling—swimsuits and pastel-toned accessories—extends the architectural palette and situates the images within a seaside, retro, and contemporary fashion imaginary.
Shot at dawn, the photographs capture a bright, radiant light. Between author photography and editorial imagery, the series constructs a solar fiction where architecture, body, and color shape a graphic landscape.
