Crossing a territory
Crossing states of being
Gaze drifting through the window
To dive into oneself
To let monsters surface
Motionless passenger
In the backseat of sedans.

This series captures memories of endless family trips, of inward journeys, revisiting my childhood and adolescence, inner territories inhabited by ghosts.
What remains of these crossings? Intimate imprints, a fascination with electrical pylons, immobile and fleeting companions to emotions that emerged, were felt, and then buried.
I explored the memory of traveled roads, of fissures revealed through time and space, along the power lines that weave a web of inner resonances.
Reality, captured through a digital pinhole camera, unveils memories of fear, of muted anxieties, and the marks left by intimate wounds. The images evoke a time that has become blurred and distorted, reminiscences of emotional experiences that are confused, faded, and silent. Old photographs from my childhood, figures of vanished carefreeness and invisible trauma, overlay the present-day landscapes and pylons punctuating this narrative.
Each image becomes a passage toward resilience, an invitation to explore the fragile space between what disappears and what remains.
This work is an immersion into memory and the fragility of an identity in the making, an attempt to transform the shadows of the past and to give form to what is fading.
