I am Chang Yu Hsuan, born and based in Taiwan, a visual storyteller and photographer whose work explores the intersections of identity, memory, and emotional landscapes. Through portraiture, documentary, and conceptual photography, I seek to capture the raw intimacy of human experience, often blending elements of fashion, urban life, and nature to craft narratives that evoke both vulnerability and strength.

Most of my long-term projects have delved into themes of female, body consciousness and self-perception, incorporating visual textures such as scars, stretch marks, and skin as symbols of growth and transformation. By using natural light, deep contrasts, and experimental compositions, I aim to challenge conventional beauty standards while emphasizing the poetic essence of imperfection.

With a background in photography and visual arts, my work has been exhibited and published in various platforms, resonating with audiences who find pieces of themselves in the subjects I capture. I am constantly inspired by fleeting moments, human connections, and the tension between stillness and movement.
