Interposto
There is always something in between. Sometimes it is glass, water, foil, fabric, a mirror, a lens. Sometimes it is you.
Interposto is a series of portraits in which the subject is never fully accessible. The interposing element changes, but the result does not: the person remains partially hidden, distorted, or split. This is not a stylistic choice. It is a premise.
The series argues that opacity is structural. It does not depend on distance, on relationship, or on intent. You can get closer. You cannot arrive.
Fifteen photographs. Fifteen different barriers. One constant: you are looking at someone you cannot entirely see.
