"Vestiges" is a visual exploration of the unseen and the intangible, a way to capture what lingers just beyond perception. Born from a recent relocation across the ocean, this project navigates the tension between new beginnings and the quiet weight of adjustment. Through everyday scenes, it becomes a rebellion against unease of waiting, anxiety, and the uncertainty of transition.

Each photograph is a search for truth, not just beauty; a silent conversation with the self and the surroundings, perhaps a fresh look at ordinary things with the eyes of a foreigner. The word “vestige” associates with traces, remnants, and echoes—things left behind by humanity and by each individual. In this in-between space, the images reveal fragments of identity, memory, and the quiet resilience of starting anew.
