As David Lynch put it: 'Black has depth. It's like a little egress; you can go into it, and because it keeps on continuing to be dark, the mind kicks in (…).
For the author, the depth in the darkness of a darkroom represents that egress for the mind. Here is another vision in the darkroom created under a dim red light and the heavy smell of old chemicals from two 35mm negatives.
