I am submitting a series of photographic works from an ongoing project titled Carriers, which moves between bodies, landscapes and abstraction. The images are made through close looking, focusing on fragments of geological environments where form begins to shift and become less fixed. While they originate in specific locations, they move away from description and towards something unrecognisable.

My recent diptych works extend this approach through inversion, where light and dark are reversed. This disrupts orientation and pushes the images further, allowing them to be read as interior states—suggestive of touch, permeability, and moments of effervescence.

The work explores how the body can carry the world—not as a fixed idea, but as a shifting, sensory experience held within the image and where perception is guided by sensation rather than recognition.
