This project has grown slowly, through years of encounters with women who passed in front of my camera. Over time, these moments accumulated into a personal archive of faces, gestures, silences and emotional residues. What began as individual portraits gradually transformed into a constellation of presences, connected by fears, wounds, and shared stories.
In the series "Infinitas", the camera operates as a fragile space of suspension, where intimate fragments surface almost unintentionally. Photography is approached as a living matter: through processes of alteration, erosion and the delicate intervention of watercolor, the images are displaced from their original state. These encounters produce traces — visual remains of fleeting moments of trust and exposure where the tangible meets the ephemeral.
The series constructs a symbolic territory in which these women can coexist in the present — a world assembled from fragments of different times and bodies. Within this suspended space, identity appears as porous, shifting and unresolved. Watercolor, with its delicacy, blurs the contours of the image, allowing it to absorb emotional and temporal depth.
The project unfolds as an open archive: incomplete, fragile and in continuous transformation, inviting infinite discovery and a multiplicity of meanings. It forges a visceral connection between the essence of the woman photographed and the spectator.
