This self-portrait is from a series where I reveal the disappearance of a woman’s identity under the weight of the roles she is doing through her life - mother, wife, worker, housekeeper — every role demands a piece of her until she becomes a blurred version of herself. A woman self is slowly disappearing under the weight of endless responsibilities. It is not collapsing dramatically but quietly disappearing unseen by people around. The series reveals the invisible cost of being endlessly responsible for everyone else.
